Michelle A. Smith

Michelle Smith received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985 from the University of Florida and her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Florida State University College of Law, Tallahassee, Florida in December, 1989, where she was a member of Florida State Law Review. She is Member of the Florida Bar, admitted to United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, General and Trial Bar; the Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

She began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the Attorney General 's Office in West Palm Beach, where she represented the State of Florida in Criminal appellate matters. She was later promoted to Senior Assistant Attorney General for the Attorney General's Office in Hollywood and Miami, where she prosecuted and defended civil cases on behalf of the State of Florida in all Federal and State Courts.

After working for a local law firm, she opened Smith Law Group, LLC, in Sunrise, Florida with emphasis in Real Estate Litigation, Foreclosure defense, Title Work and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. She is the Managing Member of Restoration Title Services, LLC, a title company in Sunrise, Florida.
